The Naive Leader

The wealthy young master Fan Sha Er is buried alive by Master Fan after raiding a grain depot. Escaping alone, he encounters Xiu Gu and her father and helps them open a hotpot restaurant. He later suffers persecution by Young Master Huo and, under the guidance of Xuan Ji Zi, mistakenly enters a bandit group. After succeeding as the bandit leader, he forms a brotherhood and upholds justice. Later, after killing Japanese invaders, he is incorporated into the ranks, earns merit through combat, bans gambling to restore military discipline, and ultimately grows into a division commander leading troops in the War of Resistance against Japan.
