In 1950, Wei Zheng Hua assumes the identity of Zheng Xiong Cai and enters the war, earning numerous military achievements while enduring life-and-death trials, the loss of comrades, and the sacrifice of loved ones. Fighting alongside his fellow soldiers, he helps thwart enemy conspiracies and biological warfare, ultimately contributing to victory in the decisive battle.
After the armistice in 1953, seventy years later, an elderly Wei Zheng Hua raises the battle flag once more, honoring the fallen and paying tribute to peace.
